Allergy as Part of the Unified Otolaryngologic Practice

The management of allergic disorders is an integral part of the specialty of otolaryngology –head and neck surgery. Its importance in the comprehensive management of the ENT patient has become more and more apparent over time. In 1985, 58% of Otolaryngology residency programs offered no formal training in allergy.
