The Vaccines and Medications in Pregnancy Surveillance System (VAMPSS) is a ground-breaking nationwide post-marketing surveillance system coordinated by AAAAI and designed to comprehensively monitor the use and safety of vaccines and medications during pregnancy. Since October 2016, the prospective surveillance cohort arm, MotherToBaby, has been looking at the safety of new biologics used to treat severe asthma in pregnant women.
